Privacy policy
Long winded privacy policies full of legal jargon are the main way that organisations 'work around' the Data Protection Act and the various other bits of legislation designed at protecting privacy and personal information....
.....so, we won't bother with that approach; our privacy policy is below.
1) Our role in life is to work for you, not to tell you about offers, freebies and other such tricks to get you to sign up and then sell that information gathered behind your back. So the only time we will use information about you is when you have instructed us to. The Privacy Preference Service has no incentive do do anything contrary to your instructions - and plenty of incentive to protect your information as we would our own.
2) Where we do something with your information at your request, we will explain what is to be done in clear terms.
3) We go above and beyond the legal requirements of the Data Protection Act - recognising that this legislation is not able to keep up with commercial practice.
