The Privacy Preference Service is a very clear stake in the ground through which individuals can flag their preference to not have their time wasted with irrelevant direct marketing messages.
Organisations wishing to work with the service will find increasingly well qualified sales leads and active requests for communication from customers their reward.
Organisations not wishing to work with the service will increasingly find themselves swimming against the rising tide of privacy concerns - repeat offendors will be flagged as such.
The practical ways in which organisations can engage with The Privacy Preference Service are:
1) As a minimum, by running the the Privacy Preference Service suppression file against your direct marketing files in order to not contact people who have specifically requested that you do not do so. This file is available by contacting us using
suppression@privacypreferenceservice.com, the cost for access to this file is £500 for each one-off use (the proceeds from which will be re-invested in extending the reach and depth of the service).
2) By contacting The Privacy Preference Service to add offers into our matching engine - for suitable organisations this costs nothing to do, provided the offers are provided in our standard format - for details please contact us on
